AREA OF RESEARCH

  • Photophysical study (e.g. Excited State Intramolecular Proton Transfer (ESIPT))of various biologically important molecules, their interactions with various biological, biomimicking and supramolecular assemblies to extract novel insights into the fundamental mechanism of interaction.
  • Synthesis of nanoparticles (specially gold nanoparticles (GNP)) by varying surface modification and their applications.
