Computer science is a diverse and rapidly evolving field that encompasses the study of computers and computational systems. It involves both theoretical and practical aspects, including the design, implementation, and analysis of algorithms, the development of software and hardware systems, and the study of the fundamental principles that underlie computation and information processing.

Courses

The department of Computer Science in our college offers undergraduate program leading to degree such as Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science( General and 3-Year MDC). These programs often cover a broad range of topics, including:

Programming and Software Development: Courses in programming languages, software engineering, and software development methodologies teach students how to design, implement, test, and maintain software systems.

Algorithms and Data Structures: These courses focus on fundamental algorithms and data structures used to solve computational problems efficiently. Topics may include sorting algorithms, graph algorithms, dynamic programming, and data structure design.

Computer Architecture and Systems: Students learn about the design and organization of computer systems, including topics such as computer architecture, operating systems, computer networks, and distributed systems.
