Established in 1963, the Department of Philosophy offers a comprehensive undergraduate program aimed at fostering a deep understanding of Philosophical theories and its various dimensions. The program spans three years, following a Semester-Wise Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and, from 2023, the National Education Policy (NEP).
Our department is dedicated to producing students who are not only well-versed in Philosophy but also equipped to be dynamic global citizens. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, we aim to stimulate intellectual curiosity and foster social awareness among our students.
Our faculty members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, particularly in Research Methodology. This specialization ensures that students receive a robust education that prepares them for both academic and professional success.
